Description

Water decanter of coarse, pinkish orange to buff coloured fabric. Wheelmade, with shallow grooves across the surface. The vessel has: a circular base with a footring; a body that is flared at the bottom and then tapers towards an obtuse-angled shoulder with a domed top; a narrow neck with a central ridge, connected to a wide, vertical, strap handle with a crescent shaped cross section; a rounded, everted rim with a recessed internal edge.
