Description
'Mal-lag ar dapparr-aw waural', by Dennis Nona 1995. Black and white print with highly detailed background of 'abstract' designs. Upon this background are a series of black and partially black figures (from top to bottom, left to right); squid, Torres Strait pigeon, mango leaves and fruit, hammer-head shark, fruit bat, tamarind fruit and leaves, yam leaves and vine, crocodile, snake with fish inside sting-ray, dugong with baby inside, masked man, cavern with turtle eggs, pig, man with crocodile mask, Torres Strait pigeon, kasava leaves and root, pelican, turtle, dugong spear (wap) with harpoon point.
