Description
Small, thick, cylindrical ring, comprising a bundle of grass or reeds with a woven cover of chequered design, formed using warps of black split cane and wefts of natural coloured reed. There are oblique lines around the ring, formed by two wefts passing under each black warp. The distance between the warps decreases around the ring towards a join in the woven cover. Used as a pot stand; can also be worn as a bracelet.
