Small pot of burnished black ware. Squat bottle shape with upright rim, small mouth and tall neck. Cylindrical cross-section with a flat base. Decorated with horizontal bands at rim, base of neck, shoulder and above base.

Catalogue card description for 1948.2354 A-B reads: 'Two small pots of burnished black ware. Squat bottle-shaped. Flat base, slightly curving sides, sharply defined shoulder almost parallel with base, straight narrow neck. Three grooves drawn round just above the base and below the shoulder, and one round base of neck and top of neck.
A: Slightly wider than B. Diameter of base: 2 1/8". Height to shoulder 1 1/8". B: Diameter of base 1 7/8". Height to shoulder 1 1/8".'
