Pot of red ware. Everted rim and narrow mouth, shouldered body and flat base. Decorated below neck with linear patterns incised with a stick. Horizontal band at neck followed by irregular triangular patterns extending over the shoulder. Burnished at neck. Firing marks at base.

Catalogue card description for 1948.2352 A-B reads: 'Two ovate pots of burnished red ware. Flat bases, flaring slightly to shoulder, narrow neck, everted lip.
A: The slightly larger of the two. Pattern: four parallel lines between which triangles pointing towards mouth, patterned inside with stick marks. Diam. of mouth 1 6/8". Height 4 2/8".
B: More shoulder than A. Pattern: Irregular V's of stick markings. Circular groove round base of neck.'
