Pot of burnished red ware. Everted rim with small mouth and very narrow neck, rounded body with flat base. Decorated above shoulder and below neck with linear markings incised with a stick. Three horizontal lines with filled triangles and vertical rows of short lines.

Catalogue card description for 1948.2349 A-B reads: 'Two bottle shaped pots, wide flat base, very narrow neck, slightly everted lip of burnished red-ware.
A: Rather squat, dark reddish ware, a band of pattern round the shoulder consisting of parallel lines between which are triangles filled with rows of stick marks. Firing marks, particularly in base. Height 3.6". Diameter of base 3.5". Diameter of mouth 9/10". Rather heavy and solid.
B: More ovate, reddish orange pot. Pattern: three parallel lines between which are triangles filled with stick marks and above rows of stick marks. Height 4.2". Diameter of base 2.9".'
