Description
A small vessel (.1) with a wooden implement (.2). The vessel is made from a buff gourd, and is roughly spherical but is slightly flattened on the top and bottom. It has circular hole cut in the top, and there is a small crack in the rim. The wooden implement is a mixing tool, with a widened, cylindrical section close to one end. Both ends are pointed.

Catalogue card description 1948.2374 A-B: 'Two gourd dishes.
A: A bottle shaped gourd cut in half lengthways to form a heart shaped dish with the neck forming the handle. The inside left without being smoothed.
B: Small, round, buff gourd, very thin, with small round mouth cut in one end. With it, a small wooden mixer, pointed at each end. The mixing end like a pointed lemon.'
