Catalogue card for 1948.2368 A-D:
'Four wooden tubes for holding drinking straws.
A: Carved end - rather like stool with bent legs, incised zig-zag pattern on the body painted black, and a wooden stopper with a thin pin like handle. A small hole pierced through the stopper and the side of the tube.
B: Smaller tube painted black except for the end. Incised zig-zag pattern, mushroom shaped ends. Similar hole through stopper.
C: Long tube similiar to B painted black with incised diamonds, filled in with criss-cross or oblique lines. Stopper missing, but other end mushroom shaped.
D: Very small tube, black, incised long triangles filled with oblique lines, split, stopper missing, mushroom shaped end.'
