Description
A small, carved wooden bowl for holding milk or sour milk. It is made from light brown wood, and is an oval shape with a rounded base, fairly narrow mouth, and a slightly pointed edge at each end of the rim. There is a small, thin, rod-like handle protruding from one end.

Catalogue card description for 1948.2375 A-C: 'Three wooden bowls for holding milk or sour milk. Of lightish yellow wood on which the knife marks can still be seen, they have rounded bases, handles consisting of a straight stick cut in one with the bowl; they are deep, and all three have the mouth outlines by a thin black line.
A: Canoe-shaped, narrow mouth, one handle.
B: Long oval shape, wider mouth, handle at each end.
C: Almost round, very small, small oval mouth, one handle.'
