Context (Amendments / updates)
When these fans were added to the Z register, they were attributed to Rwanda. However, multiple examples of fans of similar construction and material exist in the collection that are known to be from South America, including Guyana, Venezuela and Suriname [see 1995.196, E 1902.235 A-C, 1966.185, 1982.839]. The production and place field for these three fans has therefore been amended to South America.
