Description for 1948.2306 A-D: 'A: Tiny coiled basketwork object, possibly a bobbin?, shaped like an hour glass. Natural, with black and brown wrapping. Fine coiling.
B: Tiny conical cover of coiled basketwork, white wrapping on a black foundation overlaid over natural foundation.
C: Gourd shaped coiled basket, small, no lid, [diagram of basket] with yellow and purple wrapping which is very fine.
D: Bundle of raw material for basket making, reeds, and cane of varying thicknesses.'

Coiled basket with flat base and rounded sides; circular opening. Base is purple. Decorated with a thick zig-zag band of purple fibre below the rim.
