Description for 1948.2314 A-C: 'Three tiny tumbler-shaped finely coiled baskets with conical covers, which were given as presents on visits to houses. Not made now.
A: The largest; cover coarser than body, black horizontal stripes made of black coils. Body with two black parallelograms made of black coils, natural wrapping wide apart. B: Cover with brown point. One black band on body, of overlaid black coil, natural wrapping far apart. Brown base. Lid as fine coiling as body, with a black edging.
C: Tiny basket, brown pointed cover, two black bands round body in similar fashion to A & B.'

Coiled basket with flat base and slightly sloping sides; band of dark colouring around the middle. Conical cover with slightly flaring rim, band of dark colour around rim and darker natural tone at point.
