Context (Amendments / updates)
Following review of the Accession Register, catalogue card and object analysis, it was unclear as to whether the paddle, bailer and two wooden fragments belong with 'Z 17053.1' as they were not mentioned in historic descriptions and are also of a different wood type and scale. It was therefore decided that the paddle, bailer and wooden fragments should be given their own separate record, whilst retaining a suffixed iteration of the accession number, 'Z 17053.2-5', pending further accession investigation.

Description (Physical description)
One wooden paddle (.2), one wooden bailer (.3) and two rectangular pieces of wood; one shorter with two perforations (.4), and one longer with one perforation (.5). The paddle has a pointed shaft and shouldered blade with a pointed terminus and midrib.
