Context (Acquisition Details)
Until recently, these earrings were thought to have come to MAA through the Ridgeway bequest in 1927. However, the label indicates that these objects were previously part of the Christopher Graham collection, collected in September 1932 in North Nigeria. Some of Graham collection came to MAA and was formally accessioned in 1933. These earrings are part of a group of object that was not entered in the Museum's accession register at the time, and later assigned a Z number.
