Context (Found together / assemblage)
An additional length of rope was found with the accessioned rope bundles: 'Z 23052 A-I'. As this specific length of rope was not accounted for in the Accession Register and Catalogue Card, it was decided that rope should given a temporary accession number (TEMP.01953), with the hope that it will be reunited with the correct accession information in the future. The place field was recorded as possibly Democratic Republic of the Congo based upon the place field information for 'Z 23052 A-I'.

Description (Physical description)
Length of braided, brown, plant fibre rope; now in a partially bundled state. The ends and areas across the length of rope are frayed slightly.
