Catalogue card for E 1906.60[.1-2]: 'A spear: the very long, ridged, sword-shaped, socketed head of iron has a short hand-hold of wood, and a very long socketed iron ferrule. Length 84.2". Now much used by the Akikuyu, copied from the Masai.'
