Description

Ivory, oval trinket box now in four parts. Plain ivory base; sides formed from thin oval band with silver mounts and a thick oval band with lip, decorated with motif in green pigment with repeated central circles. Lid decorated on top with three figures, central woman with a woman to her left passing a note to another figure peeping around a wall on the right; blue and green pigments.
