In October 2016, Prof. Stuart Campbell and Dr Elizabeth Healey, University of Manchester, tested the fragment of obsidian in this idno using a portable XRF as part of a programme of obsidian source analysis of Middle Eastern material. The envelope has been marked 'XRF Tested 2016'.
