Description for 1955.194 A-D: 'Four buff ware jugs/goblets, wheel made. A: Red ware, with fugitive white slip, fragments of rim missing; B: White slip smoothed; C: White slip, very badly corroded and with the appearance of glaze; D: White slip, fragments missing.'

Description (Physical description)
A is pedestal vase. Beading where body joins foot, and where body joins neck. Accretions on body. B: a pedestal vase, slight damage to base. C: a pedestal vase, heavily carinated bulbous body, of red-ware. Some damage to base. D: A pedestal vase, carinated. Glued back together from sherds. Many sherds still broken off but present. Parts of the base and the rim may still be missing.
