Description for 1952.427[.1-13]: 'Fragments of jugs and vases from Tomb E4. This was a large tomb much disturbed as the roof had fallen in. This selection comprises pot fragments marked J Tomb E 4: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13; and lamps marked: 16, 17. Large bundles of sherds from this tomb have not been numbered but put in stone'.

Description for 1952.427[.1-13]: 'Three dipper juglets, two complete, one upper portion only; rim neck and part of body of storage jar (number 3). Oil lamp marked 16 has been glued back together (coarse ware). Lamp 17 has part of rim, side and base broken off and missing. Also one jar (numbered13), with two handles, has been reconstructed, with large area of infill. Sherds marked 8 and 11 conjoin to form the pedestal base and part of body of ?bowl. Also found: 4 sherds; 2 marked only 'Tomb E 4', not marked with the accession number or any number following the tomb number; 1 marked 'E4'; 1 not marked at all'.
