Description
Knife with iron or steel blade and faceted octagonal horn handle. Blade has a single cutting edge and flat back; base of blade is octagonal to match the handle; junction between blade and handle collared by copper alloy band; handle expands slightly towards butt; butt end of handle features inlaid mother-of-pearl in concentric ‘cog’ design. Knife blade corroded.
