Description for 1952.426 A-D: 'Three pottery vessels and sherds from tomb A51
A: Large jug with pointed base, neck and handle missing, Buff ware.
B: Small juglet of blackish brown ware, pear shaped body, tubular neck with rolled rim and loop handle.
C: Angular shouldered pedestal vase of wheelmade buff ware, part of rim missing.
D: Sherds of a soft buff ware bowl of conical form with ring foot, a straight sided bowl of a similar ware with parallel grooving below rim and large perforation 1" below rim, and a small fragment of red-buff ware.'

Description for 1952.426 A-D: 'B has a button bottom. C has been partially reconstructed using infill, some now broken off. Ring footed bowl D is now in two pieces, one of which is made of several sherds stuck together. Straight sided bowl D is in two pieces.'
