Knife with straight back, and up-curving blade at point The blade is incised with half moons and three smaller star. Two notches where the blade starts curving upwards. Wooden handle inlaid with floral patterns in metal. Bone butt.

Displayed as part of the Spotlight on Stores Move exhibition (TEMP.01829, TEMP.01830 and TEMP.01831). Caption provided by Veronika Lorenser: 'No time to waste. I am intrigued by the boxes of objects we know nothing about. Some have lost any identifying information; many were never formally entered into the museum. With only 15 minutes per object, we do the best we can, preparing the groundwork so that their identities can eventually be restored.'
