Sealed envelope 'On his Majesty's Service', originally addressed to 'The Treasury Officer. Nairobi'. Signed 'E. B. Horne'. Reused to enclose indigenous medicine. Hand-written note at the back: 'Kikuyu. Mukosho made from roots of a tree of that name. If a hunter eats a little of this medicine + rubs a little on each eyelid he will quickly find elephants or what game he wishes; it is also said to be a good thing to to put a little of the medicine in one's weapons.'
