Context (Found together / assemblage)
A pipe, leather bracelet and length of plant fibre with wood were found in a card box. Part of a loose typed note was also found listing Pemba Island and Leslie Matola. At an unknown date, this collection of objects was assigned a Z number, Z 27007, and documented as coming from Pemba Island.
It is not clear whether these objects have any relationship with one another, or indeed with the partial note. The record has therefore been split with the suffix .1 assigned to the pipe, .2 to the bracelet and .3 to the plant fibre and wood. The Place and Source field have been tentatively added based on the note and other objects collected by Leslie Matola, which were donated by William Ridgeway. The unmarked card box has been disposed of.
