Catalogue card for 1935.774 A-H: 'Personal adornment of a practitioner of black magic. Wasukuma tribe: locality Kigoku, Maswa District, Tanganyika Terr.A: Numerous blue glass trade beads, strung together.
Donor's notes: 'The personal adornments of a practitioner of black magic, comprising a very full range of the oldest type of trade beads, now rare and highly prized. The white disc-shaped beads are of ostrich-egg shell. It will be noted that the string of white triangular china ornaments contains an example of the prototype, a piece of shell, now extremely rare. The antelope horn filled with a black substance with four white beads imbedded therein is connected with magical practices'.'
