Description for 1939.126 A-B: 'Two wooden spoons with elaborately carved handles.
A: Shallow, almost flat bowl, and solid handle.
B: Deep oval bowl, broad flat handle with openwork carving.
Both handles decorated with geometrical 'chip carving' patterns, with the 'relief' parts (and the borders of the bowls) blackened. Native name Mwiko. cf. Ingrams, Zanzibar, p.397.'
