Sealed envelope 'On his Majesty's Service', originally addressed to 'The Treasurer'. Reused to enclose indigenous medicine. Hand-written note at the back: 'Kikuyu. "Karaugu" made from seeds of a tree of that name. Mixed with hot water it is medicine for a cold in the head.' [Transcribed by Lucie Carreau, 31/03/2022].
