Sealed envelope 'On his Majesty's Service', originally addressed to 'The Treasury Officer. Nairobi.' Reused to enclose indigenous medicine. Hand-written note at the back: 'Kikuyu. "Lusuko" made from Mubukura tree. Medicine to call a person. If A wishes B to visit him A eats some of the medicine + calls B. B who is maybe [illegible] at a distance of 3 days journey is obliged to come.' [Transcribed by Lucie Carreau, 31/03/2022].
