Context (Amendments / updates)
Z 19810[.1-2 A-T] is described by the catalogue card as: 'Long leather quiver with 14 flighted arrows'. However found inside the quiver were 20 arrows all of which had feather fletchings. It is believed that six additional arrows were incorrectly stored inside the quiver. As there is currently no way to identify which of the arrows comprise the original 14, it was decided that the quiver would be assigned a suffix and the 20 arrows would be assigned a suffix. With the hope that further analysis would allow the correct 14 to be identified at a later date. The Quiver has been assigned the idno Z 19810.1 and the 20 arrows have been assigned Z 19810.2 A-T.
