Description

A side-blown war trumpet carved from wood. There is an oval blow hole with a protruding lip in the side close to the top, and a flared bell at the other end. The trumpet has an internal plunger, made from a feather bound to stick of wood. It may act as a clapper, or it may be use to slide in and out possibly to change the pitch.
