Poignant donation description notes : 'Green and yellow glazed ceramic bowl with hand painting showing a sun on the inside. (The local Sicilian owner claimed that it had been used centuries ago by Spanish ships that sailed to the Americas. He had about 60 raised round the room on a high shelf. (He also was an aggressive fascist).
Given to us Sicily 1957-1958 '
