Description
Wooden stool with circular concave seat and three disc legs with central circular perforations. Each leg and the outer rim of the seat are lined with copper alloy plate. The surface of the seat is decorated with coiled lines of copper alloy in concentric semicircles and a central 'X' pattern. The plating is coming away at one corner.

Catalogue card for 1969.7 A-C reads:'Two small circular wooden stools supported by three almost circular feet radiating from centre. Upper surface decorated with brass and copper wire forming spirals, bands, stars etc. A- feet solid. Diameter 9 1/2", ht 4 3/4. B- feet with hole in middle. Diameter 8 1/4", ht 4 3/4. Probably Akamba.'
