Context (Found together / assemblage)
TEMP.01582 and TEMP.01583 are both ceramic vessels that were found with E 1901.214-215 and mistaken for these objects. The objects assigned TEMP numbers had been erroneously marked (in pencil and blue ink) with the numbers 1901.215 and 1901.214. The Accession registers describes E 1901.214-215 as 'two handmills' which have been identified and photographed with the correct idno, as one of them had an identifying Green collection label. TEMP.01582 and TEMP.01583 may possibly be from the collection of William Fredrick Green but have not been accessioned.
