Unfired grey clay model of a cottage loaf. The upper section is of a raised dome with deep circular indents, perforated at the side. The lower section edge is ridged and the base has multiple grooves.

These figurines were roughly modelled out of clay and given to one of Dr Seton-Williams' site-supervisors on the excavation site by the basket girls. They were made at the height of the rice harvest, - the girls making the female figurines (1966.280) and the men the male ones.
