Female figurine of unfired grey clay. The body has a triangular head and arms, two breasts, a slight circular torso indent, possibly a navel, and one leg with an extended foot. There is indented detail across the front. One leg and foot is missing.

Description for 1966.280.1-14: 'Female figurines of unbaked clay. All are roughly modelled and schematic, particularly the heads, which tend to be more pointed spikes. Ten have legs, while four have " fiddle-shaped" bodies and no legs'.

Context (Production / use)
These figurines were roughly modelled out of clay and given to one of Dr Seton-Williams' site-supervisors on the excavation site by the basket girls. They were made at the height of the rice harvest, - the girls making the female figurines (1966.280) and the men the male ones.
