'The Thomas numbers, 2031-2050 have been duplicated. They are differentiated by the suffix 'a'. See page 48-9 in the 1st Thomas Catalogue. The original 2037 number notes '2 Calabashes', but the duplicate A number, notes a hair pin. It is possible that there are 2 2037 A's.

Large carved dish with a large piece missing from side, with crack extending from broken area. Another crack at one side, with original repair, using cane stitches.

Description (Physical description)
A large round gourd dish, decorated with an intricate geometric carved design. There is a large section missing from one side; there is also a crack down one side from the rim, which has an original repair done with cane stitches.
