Description (Physical description)
Description for Z 12325[.2]: '2 is a brass hairpin. Its head consist of five segments similar to the above [Z 12325.1]. It is made up of rectangles and flattened diamond shapes. These have triangular negative spaces. Five circles with spiral lines are arranged vertically along the head. Crosshatches are used as a decoration throughout. The pin tapers down into a point.'

Collected by Northcote W. Thomas in Edo State, Ijeba (= Kukuruku) (now Uzebba) town. The inhabitants belong to the Edo ethnic group, and also identify themselves further as Yekhee people. Description (Physical description)
Brass hair pin or ornament with rectangular cross section. The head is flat and flares outwards from the body of the pin; two lozenges with rectangular slots cut from their centres are joined by a crosshatched rectangle. The head is decorated with incised lines and dots.
