Collected by Northcote W. Thomas in Edo State, Okpe town. The inhabitants belong to the Edo ethnic group, and also identify themselves further as Okpe people. Description for Z 13097[.1-2]: Two brass hairpins. Flat design. 1 has two ram’s horns on the top, and from the top the pin tapers down into a point. 2 has unclear lines beaten in to it. Three spirals, aligned vertically are visible on either side of the head of the pin, beaten flat (six in total). The head of the hairpin is rounded. 2 is similar in design to Z 25485.
