This bag was in a large bag (n2) labelled "Medieval and Post-Med sherds from disturbed levels(?)." , along with bags n4-n5.
On bag: "Post-Medieval. Discarded R/B" .
At the bottom of the box in which this bag was found was a piece of paper : "AR VIII Roman North ditch fill. This box contains all material from this feature. It also has a bag of selected sherds from which the final selection of sherds to be drawn has been made. The final selection has been bagged and boxed separately." However, this box also contains material from AR IX and AR X, so this information may not be accurate.
