Catalogue card for Z 40877 A-C reads: 'Three vessels of brushed shiny redware. A: Has a 4 lobed rim, handle, applied human face, and protruding deep tongue in five sections. B & C: In form of chickens with opening at tail. C is slightly larger.'

Description (Physical description)
Ceramic vessel of shiny redware. Vessel in the shape of a chicken. Pedestal foot, rim of vessel is protruding from the tail of the chicken. Carved wings and facial features. Chip in rim with hairline crack.
