Description
Headdress formed around band of barkcloth, outer face decorated with trimmed quills. Blue, red and yellow feathers are inserted around the headdress with a blue bird mounted at centre front; a collection of long tail feathers from different species extends upwards. At either side hangs a long string onto which iridescent green wing cases from beetles are tied, on one string is a pair of larger wing cases. Each string terminates in a bundle of red and yellow feathers.
