Description
A long and narrow rectangular twilled basketry container for a neck ornament [1955.161.1]. It is made from a rectangular panel of herringbone-style basketry, that has been folded over and closed with a stitched seam down one side. There is plant fibre fringing at the bottom, and a small looped handle of twisted plant fibre over the opening.
