Catalogue card for 1991.200 A-D: '4 modelled and painted dough heads, decorated with sparkles, with small handles at bottom. The heads or ' Caritas para pan de muerto' are baked into round loaves of ' pan de muerto' or bread of the dead. The bread is used as an offering on the household altar or is be given as a gift in the household exchanges common during the festival. A) Woman with basket on her head containing a bird. B) Woman with elaborate pink headdress. C) Jesus with green halo. D) Clown with tall pointed multi-coloured hat with ' PEPITO' on brim.'

Description (Physical description)
Caritas para pan de muerto. Painted dough head, made from Pan de Muerto ('Bread of the Dead'), made as a gift or altar offering during Day of the Dead celebrations. Features a clown wearing a pink bow tie and a yellow, purple, green, and pink hat. 'PEPITO' is written in the hat brim; one end of brim is missing. Decorated with glitter.
