The heads or ' Caritas para pan de muerto' are baked into round loaves of ' pan de muerto' or bread of the dead. Description (Physical description)
Caritas para pan de muerto. Painted dough head, made from Pan de Muerto ('Bread of the Dead'), made as a gift or altar offering during Day of the Dead celebrations. Features Jesus wearing an orange and green headdress, decorated with purple glitter. Handle is missing.
