Iron knife with curved blade which folds into a horn handle. Short, curved blade with right-angled choil; engraved on both sides of the blade back; blade pivots on an iron rivet fixed through the tang. Curved, horn handle with groove into which the cutting edge of the blade slots; rounded terminal.

Catalogue card for 1949.523 A-C: 'Three knives, with bone handles. A: with leather sheath. Said to be of pattern on Sayula knife in Jalisco. B: probably made in Ayutla. A-B: bought at Chilpancingo in 1904. C: folding type, like a pruning knife. All have engraved blades and C is probably from the same place as A and B'
