Juego; 'Juego de la Oca'. Board game titled 'Game of Goose', which is played with dice. Board features 63 colourful spaces with various illustrations, with spaces with goose illustrations interspersed between them. Game instructions in Spanish are in the centre of the board. Played in graveyards by children while their families hold vigil during Day of the Dead.

These board games are typical of those sold especially at the time of the Fiesta de los Muertos, usually outside the cemetery, but, on occasion, sold by vendors inside the cemetery. The games are all played with dice usually by children to amuse themselves while the family is holding vigil by the grave [Note from Kristin Norget].

Description for 1991.168 A-C: 'Three board games printed on card which are played with dice. Front of board has main game printed in multi-colours, while plain coloured back has a checker-board or solitaire outline. These games were played by children in the graveyard while the family was holding vigil. A) ' El Coyote' B) ' Serpientes Y Escaleras' C) ' Reglas Del Juego De La Oca' .
