On bag: "washed, listed. 14/8. excavated by PW. Brown earth with whitish loam."
At the bottom of box in which this bag was found was a piece of paper: "This pottery appears unrelated to any features at the moment (Aug 70). But it should be checked against the final feature lists (possibly at Xmas) as some of it may then be fitted in."
