Context (Found together / assemblage)
The catalogue card speculates that the objects from Z 16473 are fittings from 'a large bucket'. On closer inspection it seems more likely that they are from coffin or bed burial; however, further research and analysis is required to determine whether this is the case, and whether all of the objects are part of the same thing. The objects have been grouped by type, and each group allocated its own suffix and record.

Context (Analysis)
It is likely that Z 16373 was originally accessioned into the museum's collection as part of 1897.145, but lost association with that number and were reaccessioned as Z 16373. 1897.145 was entered as 'two handles (rope pattern) and fragments of the iron fittings of two large buckets' from Lakenheath; this tallies with the catalogue card for Z 16373, 'fittings from ?a large bucket' from Lakenheath. The 'two handles (rope pattern)' are not included in Z 16373, but it is possible that they are Z 16046.1-2 (see records). 1897.145 has been tentatively added to the MAA Nos. field and the Source updated until it is possible to confirm that they are the same.
