Description for 1897.74 A-B: 'A long, shouldered iron spearhead and a ?strap tang with large bronze rivet through it and the hole for a second rivet.'

Description (Physical description)
Copper alloy strap tang or buckle plate. Formed of a rectangular strip of sheet metal, folded and with remains of an iron pin protruding through a slit in the folded end. The front face is decorated with a border of circular punchmarks. One copper alloy rivet with a large, circular head is still present, there is one further rivet hole.
